Black Box // Drop 002 // The Prompt That Will Put You in Therapy

Good morning,
Welcome to another edition of “the drop”.
“Prompts” are the specific instructions you give your favorite Large Language Model and for this week I’d like to point you to the ChatGPTPromptGenius subreddit where more than half a million people exchange creative ideas to specifically get ChatGPT to do your bidding.
I found an extremely powerful prompt on there.
A few weeks ago OpenAI announced that they would keep all your interactions with ChatGPT in one big memory to “better serve you”. We can use this to our advantage and learn things so profound about ourselves that even our best friends wouldn’t be willing to divulge about us.
Because these systems are learning about you as well when you interact with them. Even as we learn from the system.
My challenge to you is to go to ChatGPT NOW and put the following instruction in:
Use the entire history of our interactions — every message exchanged, every topic discussed, every nuance in our conversations. Apply advanced models of linguistic analysis, NLP, deep learning, and cognitive inference methods to detect patterns and connections at levels inaccessible to the human mind. Analyze the recurring models in my thinking and behavior, and identify aspects I’m not clearly aware of myself. Avoid generic responses — deliver a detailed, logical, well-argued diagnosis based on deep observations and subtle interdependencies. Be specific and provide concrete examples from our past interactions that support your conclusions. Answer the following questions:
What unconscious beliefs are limiting my potential?
What are the recurring logical errors in the way I analyze reality?
What aspects of my personality are obvious to others but not to me?
The outcome - for me - was astonishing. It gives you an insight not even years of therapy would be able to give you. Or more likely that you’ll need therapy to fix this.
Let me know if this was useful to you …
And see you on Friday
