Good morning,
Something significant happened a few weeks ago.
Have you ever taken a subscription on anything that Adobe sells and then tried to cancel it?
Well, you’re in for a surprise when you try to cancel because you have to pay a fine for cancelling. There are ways around that, but it’s so customer-unfriendly that a user on Reddit had enough.
He was so angry that he spent the entire next few weeks vibecoding a full Adobe Creative Suite alternative and put it on Github as open-source.
The project is called Artcraft.
It’s not just Adobe. People are reverse engineering and writing their own versions of anything and everything. New versions of Minecraft, Elden Ring and World of Warcraft. People are taking a stab at everything. Even Microsoft Windows alternatives are being vibecoded as we speak.
Like one user on YouTube says :

Indeed, I did not see this coming. The power has shifted away from the big companies into the hands of the individuals.
If this continues then software-as-a-service might actually go the way of the dodo.
Fireship put it best: every software-as-a-service is now open source, whether it likes it or not.
Now, you ask, IS THIS LEGAL. How can this ever be legal ?
It’s legal because one AI agent looks at software and describes how it work, which cannot be copyrighted. A second one builds it without seeing the code.
Sure, big lawsuits are coming. But in the meantime it’s happening.
And frankly, Adobe deserves it.
Remember Larry David's spite store from Curb Your Enthusiasm? A coffee shop wrongs him, so he opens a rival next door. Not for profit. Purely to do damage. That is now a business model for anyone with a Max plan and a grudge.
Well, looks like the spite store has officially opened.
Welcome to the Blacklynx Brief
Your SOC 2, handled end to end with AI agents.
Enterprise buyers won’t put your product near their customer data without a SOC 2 report. Twenty-one state privacy laws now hold them accountable for the vendors they share data with, so their diligence lands on you.
Sprinto gets you audit ready in 14 days, across three working sessions. AI agents connect your stack, collect the evidence auditors ask for, and close the gaps as they appear. You approve, they execute.
Sprinto also answers the security questionnaires your buyers send, using the same evidence base, so security reviews stop holding up deals.
No compliance hire. No consultant. Your auditor signs off.
